Service Department - News!
The
inaugural issue of the Service Dept News (Volume 1, Issue 1, April 2010)
had some information about the changes in services and new deals!
We hope that you have all enjoyed your winter months and, like us, are excited and anxious for summer to arrive.
We look forward to servicing all of your pool needs in 2011. This letter comes to notify you of some new developments
in our Service Department. First and foremost, you will be happy to know that our service rates are to remain the same
for the third consecutive year. We are holding these prices the same despite the rising cost of insurance, fuel, etc.

In order to do this, we have found it necessary to implement some new procedures. Although we have always required
payment at the time of service, many customers have carried a balance. This leads us to sending out numerous
statements each month which has proven to be very costly. In order to eliminate this great expense,
we will be
requiring, continuing this spring 2011, all customers to have a credit card on file with us. If you have always
paid by cash or check and received our $10 discount on openings and closings, you may continue to do so.
You will be notified of any extras to your quoted service call, opening, or closing and this balance will be
applied to your credit card unless you are home and wish to pay by an alternate method. If you are not home at
the time of service, please leave us the best number to contact you at. As always, we want to thank you for your
past and continued patronage. It is greatly appreciated.
Over the years, in our very busy Service Department, we have listened to our customers’ comments about our phone system.
The good part is that we always return your calls. The bad part is that we are unable to receive all of your calls as
they come in. We always try our best to meet our customers’ needs. This year we are scheduling and confirming service
calls by email. We feel this will reduce the amount of our time on the phone, thereby, freeing up time to answer your
questions with a quicker response time. We realize many people do not use email so this is not a requirement, simply
an added service.
