Liner replacements and Family Pools go hand in hand. I think we
can do them with our eyes shut by now. If experience counts, we have
it. Chris heads us up our Restoration Department and has been a
Family asset for over two decades. I cannot impress upon anyone how
challenging it is to handle and competently complete as much work as
our staff does in this, otherwise, short and hectic New England swim
season and with our New England challenges.
It may look simple…drain the pool, pop out the old liner and pop in a new
one. We wish it were always that easy. Unfortunately, we all have to be very
careful around here with ground water conditions, pool structures, and, of
course, the unexpected weather. We are well equipped to tackle that ground water
if it should be an issue in your yard or any other issues that may arise. We are
also very capable of helping you to update your pool. If you would like to add
steps, now is the time. Do you wish you had a hard bottom on the pool? We can do
that. Is it time to update your equipment or winter cover while you’re at it?

Lastly, let me just mention what is included with your Family Pools liner
change. We’ll drain the pool for you, remove the old liner and old foam padding
if any, clean-up the inside of the pool, retrowel, and smooth out the existing
pool base, pressure test all the lines including the main drain line if any,
refoam the walls, install the new liner, and replace old faceplates if they are
