Maintenance Packages

Family Pools provides 2 different kinds of Maintenance Packages,
a set of chemicals that include approximately what we think you will
need for a season.
Note that these are maintenance chemicals, as opposed to,
balancing chemicals. Family Pools also offers Balancing
Packages of products so you can have the chemicals
you need on hand.
Your Pool
What is the size of your Pool? Family Pools groups pools into one
of three sizes:
- Small (16x32 or 20,000 gallons)
- Medium (18x36 or 25,000 gallons)
- Large (20x40 or 30,000 gallons)
Family Pools previously installed chlorinators on all of our new
pools and would recommend our customers to use Pristine Blue.
Chlorine is a sanitizer but not an oxidizer-see "How
Chlorine Works". The chlorinator supplied the low chlorine and
the Power Shock (non-chlorine shock) supplied the oxidation. We now
use Energizer instead, a chlorine shock, Energizer is a sanitizer
and an oxidizer in one.
