Baby-Loc Removable Fencing
As
you may or may not know, Loop Loc has been a leader in the pool
safety cover industry for years. They are known for their fine
quality craftsmanship and products. Now available through this fine
company comes Baby-Loc. We, at Family Pools, find Baby-Loc fencing
to be of a better quality than other fencing on the market and to be
more attractive. We will gladly send you a brochure in the mail if
you request it (by
clicking here). You can also see an actual sample of the fencing
or pick up a brochure by stopping at
either of our stores.
There are now, besides different finishes, two different types of
Baby-Loc Fence. The original gets installed into a deck by drilling
1 1/4" holes every 30 inches around the area in which it is being
installed. A fitting is then placed into each hole which the fence
post fits into. This fitting comes with a cap for times when the
fence is not up. This fence is very easy for an adult to put up and
take down but not a child. The Baby Loc Deluxe gets installed into
decks which already contain anchors for a safety cover. This fence
has an aluminum frame all around and is very sturdy and attractive.
Few, if any, holes are needed to be drilled into the deck. This
fence may also be put up or taken down but with a little more effort
than the original fencing.
Original Baby-Loc fencing is not hard to install. It is somewhat
time consuming. If you would like to install a fence yourself, a
qualified installer from Family Pools would be happy to guide you in
drawing up a layout and give you instructions on proper
installation. You can fax us at 978-688-1949 or stop by with a
diagram of your pool and how much and what kind of deck you have
around it. You will need to rent or obtain a coring drill with a 1
1/4" drill bit. If needed, we could rent or sell you a drill bit.
To figure out pricing for your original Baby-Loc fence, measure
back at least two feet from your pool edge or to whatever distance
back you would like your fence placed. Measure at that point all
around your pool or to whatever points you wish to start and end
your fence. If you are installing the fence yourself, take this
number and multiply it times $13.00 for the cost of the fence. Then
add approximately $100.00 for the rental of a drill and $85.00 for
the rental or purchase of a drill bit. If you would like Family
Pools to install your fence, take the distance measurement and
multiply it times $23.00. We work on per foot pricing for fences
installed or not installed. In addition to the per foot price
installed, add $60.00 for each dead end where the fence needs to be
cut and finished. If the fence makes a loop then there are no dead
ends. The start of the fence is not considered a dead end. The
Baby-Loc Deluxe fence is $25.00 per foot and installation (within
our territory) would be additional at $100.00 per hour.
Original fencing is available in 5 ft, 10 ft, and 20 ft lengths,
as well as, 4 ft lengths if necessary. Bear in mind that the spacing
between the posts on a 4 ft section is only 24 inches as opposed to
30 inches regular. Gates are available but not necessary. Holes are
drilled every 30" where fence posts are to be placed. Standard
fencing is 4 1/2 ft high. Five foot high fencing is also available.
Again, once installed, you will find your fence very easy for an
adult to take up and down, yet, childproof to the child. Deluxe
fencing is available 4 ft or 5 ft high and comes in 10 ft or 20 ft
sections. Gates available.
